The FR-401M Supercardioid Boundary Microphone from MXL is used to capture performances, speeches, and ambient audio from a distance while rejecting audio signal from behind the microphone. The cardioid, condenser capsule ensures pristine audio quality without noise. The low-profile design is ideal for unobtrusive use on stages, conference tables, desktops, etc and features an integrated 15' XLR cable. The FR-401M uses 48 V phantom power and is a great solution in meetings, interviews, stage performances and sound design applications.
