Beethoven's Cantatas Are Certainly Among His Lesser Known Compositions Today, But At The Time Were Not Insignificant To The Composer As Typical Occasional Works For Social Political Occasions. The Two Cantatas Wo O 87 And 88, Which Were Composed In Bonn In 1790, Remained Unperformed During Beethoven's Lifetime Only A Century Later Beethoven's Research Discovered Them Again And Admired The Depth Of Their Emotions.
