Exultation Was Commissioned By The Japanese Concert Band, MusÉE D'art Harmonie Celebrating Their 10th Anniversary. The Piece Is A Short And Energetic Concert Opener Which Is Palindromic In Form And Begins In Fanfare Style, Juxtaposing 3/4 And 6/8 Rhythms With A Latin Flavor. The Main &Ldquo;Blues&Rdquo; Tinged Theme Is Then Followed By A Marcato Style Second Theme And Lyric Section. These Various Sections Then Appear In Reverse Order, Culminating With The Powerful Strains Of The Opening Fanfare. Dur: 3:00 (Grade 4)
