Wide Sound Coverage
The AC-44 takes MXL's signature 3-capsule array and uses it to create a small microphone with a wide range of pickup. This array, coupled with excellent sound rejection from the back, makes it quite suitable for conferencing with multiple people in a room: you'll hear who you want to hear, and avoid amplifying background noises you'd rather leave unamplified.
