In The Preparation Of His Spanish Dances (Hn 1370) Sarasate Linked Already Existing Material Folk Songs Or Songs Of Well Known Authors With His Own Charming Musical Language. The Two Dances Op. 22, Romanza Andaluza And Jota Navarra, Were Completed By The Composer And Violin Virtuoso In 1878 During His First Concert Tour Through Scandinavia. Soon After The First Performances, The Lyrical Romanza Was The Brilliant Sister Piece From The Rank And Was From Then On To The Original Compositions, The Sarasate Most Recited. Since Then, The Piece, Which Is Now Also Available As A Single Edition In The Henle Catalog, Has Lost Nothing Of Its Charm!
