In This Selection Of Pieces For Flute And Piano I Wanted To Take The Opportunity To Rediscover Some Of The Music That I First Got To Know As A Child And Made Clumsy Attempts To Play, In My Case Either On The Clarinet Or The Piano. I Think That At That Time I Was Quite An Unprejudiced Listener For A Brief While; Bach, Bartok, And Boogie Woogie Were All Part Of The Same Joyful Process Of Musical Discovery. I Hope That With These Arrangements I Can Share My Youthful Experience Of All Kinds Of Music With Today's Aspiring Flautists.
